• Parties should come up with a common goal on adaptation, how it should be measured and reported to smoothen negotiations
• Developed Countries should commit additional Adaptation funds as aligned to the adaptation needs of the Developing Countries.
• Need for adequate evidence based documentation on loss and damage by developing countries
• More investments are needed in technology developments and transfer to enhance adaptation capacity
• A proportion of funds should be tagged towards supporting ecosystem related activities to advance adaptation of the environment and ecosystems
• More is required to achieve gender transformative climate change adaptation
• Adaptation must be separated from Loss and Damage, because they are different and should be treated differently.
