Ms. Christine Mbatuusa is the Senior Programme Officer at EMLI supporting programme implementation. She is an economist with experience in financing for development, environment and climate change. Her work focuses on the intersection of economics, climate change adaptation and mitigation, climate finance, and sustainable development. She represents civil society organization (CSO) views and provides technical advice as a member of the National Designated Authority Inter-ministerial Committee for the Green Climate Fund and Adaptation Fund. She is the focal point for the Uganda Green Economy Network. She has contributed to several studies on tracking and mobilizing climate adaptation financing in Uganda, partnering with organizations such as CARE-Uganda and CARE Denmark
